Old Tonbridge in pictures - 1963-1980

The links below take you to four groups of photographs which make up the Warner Collection, kindly made available for this website by Mr Bill Warner. The photos were taken by his parents, mainly in the 1960s, with a few in the following decade.
The images in the collection show buildings in Tonbridge, mainly photographed at times of change, for example when a shop changed hands, was refronted, or completely rebuilt. Captions include the date when each picture was taken. To reduce the intrusion of traffic, most of the scenes were photographed on Sundays.
